Day 31 - London

I started out my 3 days here with no plans, but that changed rather quickly and I booked to visit the Frameless exhibition today, meeting Cameron for dinner tonight, going to Churchill War Rooms tomorrow and Book of Mormon tomorrow night,  meeting a work colleague Thursday afternoon.

Frameless was amazing.  The blurb said it “is redefining the experiential immersive art world.  Frameless features four galleries and showcases some of the world’s greatest works of art presented in ways never seen before.  Where art breaks free.”

Mirrored ceilings showing the projectors

Almost like being there. Minus the pigeons 😊

It was effectively video projections of art work that completely surrounded you.  This was achieved sometimes with mirrors on the ceilings (no pink champaign on ice) and projections onto the walls ceilings and floor, and sometimes interactive.  If you walked through the piles of confetti on the floor, your feet kicked up the confetti as if it were leaves.  Very clever.  Some people are so creative.  I took loads of photos and videos, and spent a couple of hours here in total.  Would recommend to anyone visiting London, it was really good.

I can't seem to upload videos here for some reason, which is a pity. See the website for more info www.frameless.com

Grabbed some lunch and then did some more work (can our cards be used contactless in ATMs here – no they are declined, as expected) and slowly mooched my way back to the motel to catch up on the blog.
